The one-way drinking straw was developed for people suffering from weak oral musculature or with difficulty swallowing. The design features a one-way valve which stays filled with fluid even after removal from the user’s lips, while reducing the air ingested and effort required. As a result, less coughing and choking while drinking thin liquid occurs. Adjustable clips can hold onto the cups or glasses and prevents the straws failing out.
